They do taste just like that franchise’s biscuits. KFC’s biscuits actually have a similar texture but taste like a preservative is used in them, so l’m thinking they aren’t KFC’s recipe.<br />Alternatively I have used 7up, Sprite or any like carbonated drink for the liquid . And I have used whatever biscuit mix I have on hand instead of the Bisquick brand. I also hand roll them and add melted butter on top.Lynnettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17139659818713499366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3993260743955809699.post-18473707876024263192017-10-28T18:49:27.928-04:002017-10-28T18:49:27.928-04:00Has anyone ever added garlic powder and cheddar ch...Has anyone ever added garlic powder and cheddar cheese to this recipe for a garlic cheddar biscuit? As a guess, I'd say 1/4-1/2 tsp after an amount of 6 cups of flour is used or something like that. Use your own judgement or experiment. It may not be necessary to reduce the bs or bp. You can make it yourself by combining the dry ingredients for any biscuit or pancake recipe and storing in a sealed container. For a larger quantity just double, triple, etc. When a recipe calls for Bisquick just use your own DIY pre-mix.
